Saturday, October 13 we’ll have a potluck dinner and slide show at the Blacksburg Town Recreation Center on Patrick Henry Drive. The event will run from 5-8 p.m. Members are encouraged to organize and lead rides prior to the event! Dinner will be pot luck.

We’ll probably take time to recognize some of our members’ contributions to the club at this time.

The highlight of the event will consist of members’ slides from their cycling adventures. Any members who have slides (powerpoint, images, or old-fashioned slides) and would be willing to share, please do so. Topics could include - Fully loaded bike touring trips, adventures in bike commuting, races, supported rides, family bike camping trips…essentially anything that you’d like to share. For example, Carlson could limp up and talk about Alp d’Huez. Rosar might talk about RAAM. I know many of you have done international biking vacations and tours. Those who showed slides in Radford a couple of weeks ago, please bring ‘em!

Even if you are not a club member but are on this list, you are welcome to participate. (You are also welcome to not be so cheap and cut us a check for $15 and become a member :-))
